Amistad Research Center
The Amistad Research Center is the nation's oldest, largest and most comprehensive independent archive specializing in the history of African Americans and other Ethnic Minorities. From its beginnings as the first archives documenting the modern civil rights movement, the Amistad Research Center has experienced considerable expansion and its mission continues to evolve.
The history of slavery, race relations, racial and ethnic history, and the civil rights movement are documented in the Center's holdings of the papers of artists, educators, authors, business leaders, clergy, lawyers, factory workers, farmers and musicians. The collection contains over 15 million documents, 250,000 photographs, and a library of over 25,000 volumes. The Center also holds more than 400 works of African American art.

Bayou Playhouse
The Bayou Playhouse, located in Lockport, Louisiana, is the only non-profit professional theatre south of New Orleans. It is also the only theatre in the state with a primary mission to support Southern artists and present plays that celebrate Southern culture, as well as community events- all in a down-on-the-Bayou setting. The Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans offers multidisciplinary arts programming, presenting and facilitating the work of local and nationally recognized visual and performing arts. The CAC’s 10,000 square foot gallery space, open six days a week, features seasonal exhibitions of contemporary visual arts. French Market Corporation
The French Market District offers retail and recreational/performance space for a wide array of visual artists, entrepreneurs, craft vendors, musicians, street performers, culinary artists, and educators. Louisiana Cultural Economy Foundation
The primary mission of Louisiana Cultural Economy Foundation (LCEF) is to be a catalyst for the development and enhancement of the distinct cultural industries of Louisiana, by promoting the economic health and quality of life of our cultural economy workforce.
LCEF's two major programs, the Economic Opportunity Fund and the Healthcare Initiative, provide access to capital and healthcare, supporting our cultural workers' ability to earn a decent living and maintain a respectable quality of life.
Since 2005, LCEF's programs have served cultural economy producers (businesses, self-employed individuals, and nonprofits) working in culinary, visual, performing and literary arts; music; film; design; crafts; historic preservation; and also Social Aid and Pleasure Clubs and Mardi Gras Indians – anyone possessing a “culturally” defined occupation or skill. Our artists and cultural producers are responsible for the distinct customs and traditions that make our region unique.
To date, the Economic Opportunity Fund has raised and distributed over $1 million to hundreds artists, cultural organizations and businesses. The Healthcare Initiative has served thousands of individuals through healthcare referrals and screenings.

Ratty Scurvics
Ratty Scurvics is an accomplished artist in several disciplines. He attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a focus on film making and large format figure drawing. In the field of painting he has exhibited in solo and group shows in New Orleans, Chicago, Austin and Dallas. As a writer he has published works of short fiction and poetry and penned/ produced three musicals. In the area of theater he enjoys an award winning career composing for stage and acting as musical director. Ratty Scurvics has produced dozens of records and toured America extensively with engagements in Europe.

Rau for Art Foundation
The Rau for Art Foundation was created by M.S. Rau Antiques, a landmark of the French Quarter for over 100 years. Aiming to support arts education and appreciation in the Greater New Orleans area, RFA will award $17,500 in grants, prizes, and scholarships in 2013. Students in 10th-12th grade in Orleans, Jefferson and St. Bernard Parishes are invited to enter our scholarship competition and art teachers are encouraged to apply for a grant through our newly established Teacher Assistance Fund. Our first place winner will have the opportunity to study in Italy!

Although Salú has a distinctly Latin flavored vibe, the name "Salú" was derived from the Spanish "salud," Italian "salute," and French "salut," all loose translations for "cheers!"

The Historic New Orleans Collection
The Historic New Orleans Collection is a repository of the Gulf Coast's rich history. The NOCCA Institute
The New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) is Louisiana’s arts conservatory for high school students. NOCCA provides intensive instruction in Classical Music, Creative Writing, Culinary Arts, Dance, Drama, Jazz, Media Arts, Musical Theatre, Theatre Design, Vocal Music, Visual Arts, and academics to students from public, private, and parochial schools across Louisiana. Admission to NOCCA is by audition, and tuition is free.
